Can't find PROPLUS.msi . How do I download updates to Office?

I am trying to download updates (Service Packs etc) to Office XP and/or
Office 2003. I am asked to provide a/the Office XP disk with Frontpage and
find a file named "PROPLUS.msi" I have several copies of Office XP, Windows
XP, and Office 2003 all of which are original purchases from Microsoft
(through retailers); I have looked in every folder on no end of CDs and I
cannot find PROPLUS.msi. Please help. What do I do?

Hi Bill,

MS Office XP Professional + Frontpage was a non-retail
(volume license) edition. That's the name on the CD
and it would have the ProPlus.msi file. If it's not
the same CD you have for Office XP listed in Add/Remove
Programs in the Windows Control Panel you can backup your
files, uninstall that version, restart then install the
version of Office XP from the CD that you do have.
You may then also need to repair/reinstall Office 2003.

The .MSI files are edition and version specific and
not interchangable.
