Hi Iris,
How Word/Office handles downloads from
Clips online will depend on your version
of Office and the location of flies can
depend on your Windows version.
For example, if you download the clips and
choose to 'save' the file to disk then Clips Online
creates a .CIL collection (Office 97/2000) or an .MPF
collection (Office XP/2003) and saves it to your hard
disk where you can later add it to Clip Gallery or
Clip Organizer.
If you choose to 'open' the file (or you have setup
to not be prompted for an open/save choice then Clip online
downloads the graphics (as .DAT files in Word 2003)
into your temporary internet files cache and then incorporates
the graphics into the clip organizer, recreating the
graphics in a location (for Word 2003) such as
C:\My Documents\My Pictures\Clip Organizer
If you're having trouble with the downloads from Clips Online
try clearing the temporary files through the Internet
Explorer Tools menu.
==========
I can never find my recently downloaded clip art online,
i can't find the downloaded clips link in the clips
organizer in microsoft word. How can I find them? >>
