Cant find server suddenly

In OUTLOOK 2002 WIN-XP-only on my new DELL laptop. Desktop is fine always.
Suddenly I get error message "cant find server". I have to do a system
restore to get it working. Settings are always fine. DELL wont support the
issue for free. I have no clue at this point. Any help would be
appreciated
