In an application called [Child Care ACF-801 Data Entry
HOME] the central data-entry form (which has two nested
subforms) displays the following puzzling error message
when one right-clicks the mouse from within the form (as
one might do to invoke a search filter for a text box or
to change the order of record scrolling):
" Child Care ACF-801 Data Entry HOME can't find the
macro 'yes.'
The macro (or its macro group) doen't exist, or the macro
is new but hasn't been saved.
Note that when you enter the macrogroupname.macroname
syntax in an argument, you must specify the name the
macro's group was last saved under."
But neither the form, nor its subforms, nor (I believe)
any of its controls has any event that invokes a macro
called 'yes.' . If I create a dummy macro called 'yes.',
right clicking opens it, but that eliminates the drop down
menu that one right clicks to open.
What might cause this odd behavior, and can it be fixed?
As things stand currently, clicking OK on the error
message allows the user to go on to the right-click drop
down menu as if nothing had happened, but explaining the
error message to users is an ongoing annoyance.
Thanks for any advice you folks may have.
