Can't forward attachments that are sent to me by email

How can you forward attachments that you receive in an email? When you try and forward them the body of the message is forwarded but not the attachment. Is there anything I can do on this? Please help me thanks

Maybe there's something changed from v 2004 to v 2008, but when I forward
messages in v 2004, the attachments go with them. "Embedded" attachments
also get sent, although v 2004 does not show them in the Attachments field.

Are you sure you downloaded the entire message before trying to forward it?
Many users have Entourage set up to "Partially receive" messages larger than
a certain size. (Check in the Options tab for that account in Account
Setup.) In that case, a partially received message will display a clickable
message saying something like "Receive entire message". If you see that,
click on the link before trying to do anything with attachments.
