Can't get DATABASE to appear in menu bar

I have VISIO 2002 Professional SR1 and can open up the
templete Database Model Diagram ok but I expect the
work 'DATABASE' to show up in the Menu bar and it does
not. What am I doing wrong? I don't see any options or
setups to fix this problem. Is this option available in
the level of VISIO that I have installed? Thanks.
