Can't get fills or Pictures to overprint

[learning curve]

Can't get fills to overprint with two spot colors and create third color.
What is the trick to this ? Having same problem with a complete overprint of
a black picture or halftone over a spot color. Need a complete overprint and
every suggestion I have been given so far doesn't seem to work. Help!

Do yourself a big favour and buy Serif PagePlus 10.0 which has all the tools
for taking work to the printer.
Besides having the CMYK built in, it also has PDF CMYK so you experience
none of the issues you do with Publisher.
Serif PagePlus is a proper DTP program with all the necessary features,
including layers. PagePlus makes Publisher look like a little kiddies
program.

Publisher 2007 is knocking out all text no matter what the settings are in
the PDF file when using the Save As PDF feature or printing to Adobe PDF.
Please Help!!!
