Can't get JPG's to work in Access 2003?

I have a new computer with Access 2003. I tried to import my old database
which has jpgs in one of the fields. They are currently listed as
MSPhotoEditor 3.0 objects. I can view reports and forms with them showing
up properly however when I click on one it gives me an ole isn't registered
error must reinstall server.

I also tried creating a new record and insterting a jpg I've used before.
The items is now listed as a package and does not show up in the reports.

I finally gave in and installed just PhotoEditor from Office XP - it works
fine but I feel silly having to do that.
