Hi,
I downloaded the trial version of OneNote 2007 to see if it was going to fit
my needs. I "thought" I could download and activate later to start my 60
days but I had to type in the number that I was given.
The tutorial popped up and I was going thru it altho when I tried to TYPE in
where it asked me to so that I could try different functions, it wouldn't
allow me to type or drag or drop or anything. So, this further convinced me
that I hadn't activated it yet.
NOT, I tried to today to open the program and what I got was the same
thing...I am unable to do anything and almost ALL of the options (like
actually creating a new notebook) are greyed out and I don't have an option
to actually choose them.
I then went to the M/S site and saw that they had a Test Drive, so I ran
that and in the Test Drive Version, ALL of the options are available and not
greyed out.
I tried to call to see what it could possibly be and quite frankly, I don't
want to just buy it until I HAVE had the opportunity to try it to test it out!
Of course, they can't help at all with trial versions (actually, on the
title bar of One Note when I open it, it says (Trial) in parenthesis.
So, can ANYONE please offer any words of encouragement or explanations as to
how I can get it to work?
Thanks in advance,
SWALynn
