Office 97 is over nine years old and considered obsolete
by today's standards. You would be better off installing
Microsoft Office 2003.

The .OCX files in the Office 97 web page authoring properties have been blocked by Windows XP as potential security problems. One
work around is to use a custom installation choice for Office 97 and exclude the web page authoring choice.
