Can't get powerpoint to go to mouse click control

I have 3 page sample powerpoint. I want 2 pages to run automatically and 1
page to display on mouse click only. I'm in 2003....... start shows mouse
click but the page goes automatically. HELP

Checking advance on mouse click only ALLOWS mouse click to advance the
slide. It doesn't prevent any other methods. You have to eliminate the
automatic transition. When you check Advance slide "on mouse click" uncheck
the box for "Automatically after." Don't click apply to all, and you should
be set.
