Can't get Proj 2002 to Activate

Hi there,

I'm trying to get a trial version of Proj Prof 2002 to "activate." I
had Project 95 installed on my comptuer when I was running Windows ME.
It appears that the vestiges of this version are preventing me from
activating Project 2002... I tried to take one of the KB articles advice
and looke for regsitry keys, but I deleted every one I could find to no
avail. Since the version I have came with a text book, there is no
product key and since I can't activate it, I can't get the key from the
help... Does anyone know if there is something I can do to start fresh
and install this?

Don't really know. I do know that questions about trial versions have
been asked many times in the past. Suggest you search this newsgroup
history via http://groups.google.com and see if you can get any insights.

I would recommend, though, that you NOT mess with the registry unless
you have specific and authoritative documentation to do so. In absence
of authoritative documentation about how a program uses the registry,
there is no "safe" reason to do so.
