Whenver any of our resource managers go to the Timesheet Approvals
page to approve timesheets, they see a series of error messages, in
red text, across the top of the screen. Everyone sees the same errors,
all of which include the following:
Timesheet "(timesheet name)": While communicating with the Project
Server an error occured. Check connectivity with your administrator to
determine if further action is necessary.
There are eight of these messages on everyone's page, they all have to
do with old timesheets submitted by different users for time periods
in Nov and Dec of last year. All of the timesheets specified in these
error messages appear to have been approved successfully.
I have looked in the Project Server Queue and the server logs for some
clues as to what happened, with no luck.
So, I have two questions:
1. What happened to cause these errors in the first place?
2. How do I get them to stop appearing on the Timesheet Approvals
page?
