Can't get rid of negative float activities

Anyone...
Somehow I have managed to created activities with negative float. All
activities have a "as soon as possible" constraint type, no constraint dates,
the logic looks good, calculated from a start date with an open ended fiinish
date.
I've tried everything I can think of with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The two factors that can cause negative Slack or float are:

1. Missing an inflexible Constraint date, such as a Finish No Later Than
constraint.
2. Missing a Deadline date.

Since you state that no task has a Constraint, would you check to see if any
tasks have a Deadline date? The easiest way to determine this is to apply
any task View, such as the Gantt Chart view, and then apply the Tasks with
Deadlines default filter. Hope this helps.
