Can't get rid of test drive message

I have purchased the 2004 Word for Mac license, but everytime I try to
open a document I have created, it says that my 30 days have expired
and I need to purchase or remind me later. I can go into a fresh word
document and open the document, but that is a pain. Microsoft support
says they will charge me $35. to answer a question -- that is
ridiculous! Has any one else experienced this or do you have
suggestions to resolve this matter. Thanks a lot!

I suspect that you installed Office 2004 (or even Word 2004 all by itself)
without uninstalling the test drive first. I'd suggest removing Office
completely using the uninstaller (Applications/Microsoft Office
2004/Additional Tools/Remove Office), then reinstalling it. This should
solve your problem. Do not delete the application(s) by simply dragging
it/them into the trash; it is imperative that you use the Remove Office tool
provided by Microsoft.

Thanks, that worked. I had uninstalled the test drive, but evidentally
I hadn't gotten it all. It is all working great now.
