Can't get rid of Trailing blank page

A

Adam Dubiet

Is this a Word bug (Word 2002, on XP Pro)?

I have a multi-page document of which I now want only the
first two pages. I select all the text I want to delete,
then delete. I am then left with two pages, and a trailing
blank page which I cannot get rid of no matter what.

Even when I try to copy just the text I want, and paste it
into a new document, I STILL get the blank trailing page.

Is there a "delete page" function that I am missing here?

Any help would be appreciated, thx.

Did you try the obvious, which can be overlooked? :)
Put the curser on the last symbol, probably a period?
Use backspace and delete keys to erase any invisible
keystokes such as enter or tab which may be creating the
page. You probably tried this first, but check it out,as
it is easy to miss what you can't see. Did you try
sdrolling into the page then 'backspacing' back up to the
end of the document? Good Luck!
