Can't get slide show to advance

I can't get the slide show to advance, no matter what the transition time is
set to, I'm running XP with Office 2003

yes, there is sound on the offeneding slides,there are no click on
animations, and what happens if I want to the the PP to other people to play

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation

That article should explain how to get sounds to embed (or alternatives) and
the one I posted previously should explain how to get the sound to play
across multiple slides.
