Can't hide tracked changes in Word 2000 doc to W2003 user

P

Pat

Word 2003 users can just click the "Final Showing Markup"
and the changes are all there.
Doc created in Word 2003, editied and tracking turned off
in Word 2000. Sent back and Word 2003 can read all the
changes.
How does Word 2000 hide the changes?

Turning tracking off just stops Word from recording any more changes (and
perhaps from displaying them). But the existing one are still there until
you accept or reject them. If you want your "final" version to be *final,*
then Accept All Changes in Document.
