Can't Import a .txt file

Im using MS access 2000, i've been trying to import a .txt file but it
doesn't work, i've tried a few times importing other file types and
they work fine. Anyone know how to help me, this is really bugging me.

That can mean a lot of things. Please provide more information about what is
"not working" -- what do you see? what error message(s) do you get? what
happens?

Try re-registering the dll files like this:
Start Run
regsvr32 msexcl35.dll
regsvr32 msxbse35.dll
regsvr32 mspdox35.dll
regsvr32 mstext35.dll

Use 40 instead of 35 for A2K and 2002.

That's MSEXCL35.dll not MSEXC1.dll.

Thanks guys, I will try that.... i don't really know how to explain
why it doesn't work... i hit import, select my .txt file but the
wizard never opens, i don't get any error messages either. Thanks for
your help. I'll let you know if it works

Hi Nic,

If the import/export wizards don't work at all, you probably need to
re-register ACCWIZ.DLL too.
