Can't import anything from Entourage 2001 to Entourage 2004

I've searched some of the threads here but can't find any specific
help with my problem.

I upgraded from 2001 to 2004 (Along with a move from OS9 to OSX) and
just dragged the 'Main Identity' folder from Documents (OS9), thinking
- perhaps foolishly - that it would be a simple matter of importing.
In Entourage 2004 when I use the import wizard, all of the folders are
greyed out and thus unavailable for importing. (Luckily, I made a copy
of every mbox so I could just drag and drop these in one at a time.)

But my contacts are only saved as a CSV file (Exported them from
2001). I can find no way to import these into 2004 without manually
retyping everything! Is there a way? Can anyone help? I realise now I
probably did things in a bit of a rush. Thanks!
