can't import contacts

Hi there,

I'm trying to import a copy I made of my contacts from my
old PC onto my new PC. I saved the copy as a pst file
onto a CD - did it myself - nothing unusual happened.

Now I'm trying to import them onto my new PC - and I'm
getting an error "File access is denied. You do not have
the permission required to access the file xxxxxxx".

I've tried fiddling about with 'properties' - but no joy.
What shall I do ?

Did you copy the .PST back to your hard drive and remove the read-only
attribute? Outlook can't use a .PST file directly from CD.

Great - that worked - and I didn't need to change any
attributes.
