Can't import/export between MDBs ?!

Using Access 2000.

I have two reports in one database that I need to get into another database.
I've tried importing them; I've tried exporting them. Getting nowhere! It
appears the process has taken place, but the reports aren't finding their
way into the appropriate database.

Has anyone else run into this? Any known workarounds?
