can't import hotmail contacts to entourage

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

I started using entourage to mange my email. I wnat to import my contacts from hotmail, because I have about 500 and cannot do it manually. I was able to create a csv file to export from hotmail and went through ll the steps to import to entourage. import txt file etc..but the contacts are not transferring. once I hit import, it imports them, but all I get is 500 blank entries? Can someone please help me get my contacts into my entourage!
seems like I have tried everything and it's not working..
