Can't import old Outlook 2002 files

When our computer crashed, we were able to save the old outlook data into a
pst file. However, now when I try to import those pst files from the back up
drive, nothing happens. How can I recover those lost files? Yes, I've tried
importing, and changing the data location file. It shows that there are 200
MB there in the back-up, but nothing shows up in my outlook files. Help!

Ensure the file is not set as read-only. Open and copy items instead of
import.
