Can't import personal folder backup file (.pst)

Hi,

I recently reinstalled XP Home edition with Office 2000
version on it. Prior to doing that i had taken the backup
of my personal folder in outlook and now that when i run
the personal folder exe file i get the message that the
outlook 2000/2002/2003 is not installed on this
system........ wot da

i have very important info in that .pst file......can
anyone help me out here plsssssss
