Can't Insert CAD drawing

I have a strange problem, my Visio 2002 can't insert or open an Autocad
drawing. When I click on Insert/CAD Drawing... and choose an Autocad
drawing, and click Open, nothing happen, no drawing, no error message, no
nothing. I thought may be the drawing was complicated, so I made a simple 3
entities Autocad drawing, and is the same. I also tried with File/Open,
nothing happen here too. Why is that?

Try using Insert-Object. Then select the appropriate file
you want to import.

I have exactly the same problem so if you find a solution I'd be most
grateful. I've established that the problem occurs when Visio is
instaled via MS-SMS using our custom install script. It doesn't
happen if I install Visio from the CD.

Try Insert/Object... I remember that this worked. But eventually I
abandoned using Visio because all the Autocad properties of the drawing
imported into Visio are lost and I can't do anything useful with it with
VBA. I use Intellicad as the intermediary to import the Autocad drawings
instead, which work out great as I can now manipulate any property of the
drawing's entity with VBA.
