Can't insert picture into picture content placeholder Word 2010

hi I have Office 2010 beta. I have picture placeholders in my document and
should just be able to click and browse to select the picture file.

I can select the wmf file but the image does not show up (or print) in the
document. I have tried this on both a 2007 created document (now in
compatability mode) as well as creating a new document in 2010 format.

I desperately need this to work!

Windows 7 ultimate
Office 2010
have also tried different file types - png, jpeg, and bmp.

Congratulations, you found a bug in the Word 2010 beta. I'll report it
to the beta team and give you credit.

In the meantime, the picture control inserted by 2010 is just
unusable. However, if you have a copy of Word 2007 available anywhere,
you can open the document there and insert the picture. When you take
the document back to 2010, the content control will operate correctly;
you can change the picture, resize it, etc. It also continues to work
if you use the Convert command to get out of compatibility mode. It's
just the initial loading of the control that doesn't work.
