Can't Install Autoupdate 2.1.1

I'm trying to install Autoupdate 2.1.1 from 1.1.2. When I run the Installer it tells me it can't find 1.1.2, so the installation fails. I'm running 10.4.11. I ran Autoupdate 1.1.2 to bring all my Office 2004 SW up to date. Can you help me?

I am trying to instal AutoUpdate 2.1.1 from 2.1.0 - and every time it starts to run I get the AutoUpdate2.1.1 Unexpectedly quit message. What gives?

I uninstalled and reinstalled Office:mac 2008 and tried it again...didn't work. Tried repairing disk permissions and it still didn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PowerMac with 10.4.11

Is this from the Help --> update feature. Did you try downloading the
standalone updater?

Autoupdate 2.1.1 is for Office 2008's AutoUpdater only.

I think I solved the problem. I'm a video editor, and have AvidXpress Pro installed - which in the 2004 days also caused issues. I uninstalled Avid, ran the help update - and it all worked perfectly. Clearly there is something no jiving when AvidXpress Pro and Office are installed on the same systems.

Thanks for your quick response though. I really appreciate it.
