Can't install BCM for Outlook 2007

Office Small Business 2007 package. New laptop computer (Dell 1535 bought
from Best Buy, they didn't have Office Small Business package in stock. Went
next door to Office Depot to buy it.) With the hated VISTA operating system.
I have successfully installed CD1 - the main office suite, but I can't
install CD2 - BCM. Reading the log file from the end - "MainEngineThread is
returning 1603" and "Error 1316. Setup cannot read from file
E:\OFFICE\02007pia.msi."
Other resources imply I had a bad CD. I took it back to Office Depot and
they gave me a new Office package. Retried to load BCM and get same errors.
Can I have 2 bad discs in a row?
How do I install BCM?

I haven't come across o2007pia.msi before. It makes sense that BCM
needs PIA DLLs to interface with Office, but I would expect BCM to
install the DLLs itself, or for the Office Setup to have already
installed them. Have you tried running Outlook, before installing BCM.
Perhaps the Outlook still has pending components it needs to install
during its first user.

If you can find that file, o2007pia.msi, try right-clicking on it and
installing it, before running BCM's setup.

As an alternate strategy, try copying the BCM setup folder, the one
with setup.exe, and its subfolders to your harddisk, and then running
setup again.
