Cant install Office 2K FULL VERSION ERROR 1608

Hi!
I just unpacked my new Sony Vaio laptop, running XP Pro. It came with MS
Works 7.0 and Office 2003 Small Biz TRIAL (which I havent keyed in yet) as I
simply plan to install my full version of Office Pro 2000. Prob;lem comes up
the second I hit "Next" ater I key in office 2K disc 1. I first am asked to
pick a drive for product compliance check and then I get the error 1608
"Couldn't find previously installed" message although I am indeed installing
a FULL version of Office 2K, not an upgrade. NOt sure of next steps, hope
for some help!! Thanks.

I figured it out myself....if it helps anyone else, I just guessed that I
might want to actually select the optical drive (not the "C" drive) where the
full disk was and indeed installation was quickly underway!!!!!!
