Is it possible to install office 2000 (which is designed for Windows NT and
Windows 98) on a computer running Windows XP? I keep getting errors during
the installation process.

Yes it is.
I keep getting errors during the installation process.

Now that you know its possible, try googling the error message to see if
anyone else had the same problem. If that doesn't help, post the error
message here and we'll see if we can help.

I am having the same problem, and I keep getting error 1335 (can't find file-
office.cab.1. I have verified the file is there, the CD is clean, the drive
works properly, have performed a clean boot and tried to install from a
flatfile-- in other words, I've tried every suggestion made by microsoft
Q314810 and I am still unable to resolve this issue. Is there anyone out
there who can suggest what the difficulty is and how to address it? I'm
relatively new at this and am trying desperately to make this work... Thanks
much.
