Can't install Outlook 2003 sp2 with WSUS

P

Programmer

I'm trying to use WSUS to deploy the Office 2003 SP2 update. For some reason
approximately half of my 150 clients don't get detected for the Office 2003
SP2 update. The clients that don't work were originally installed from an
adminstrative install point that had SP1.

The most recent XP security updates that came out on 10/11 all went out just
fine over WSUS to all the computers.

Clients: XP SP2 w/Officice 2003 Pro SP1

Any ideas.

You'll have to recache Outlook from an unpatched AIP to receive the WSUS
updates, according to http://www.wsuswiki.com/OfficeAIPs. Are the clients
local-admin? I've got a similar problem with an unpatched AIP, whereas the
cliënts aren't local-admin.
