Can't install purchasedOfficePro ovr preInstald smallBiz trial ver

Just bought new Vaio w/Office small biz 60 day trial version. Tried to
install my purchased Office Pro version (purchased at Best Buy and I have
full CD and product key), it goes through the install process for several
minutes, then nothing changes in All programs (still shows apps that are the
small biz verions and no new folder with duplicate apps)
Also went to apps folder and launched executables, same result. How can I
install my beloved (paid for already) version of Pro?
(conversion using my product key did not work as my product key is for Pro
not Small Biz version)
