Can't Install SP2

Every time I try to install Office XP SP2, it's unsuccessful. No reason is
given. I have the cd but the SP install program doesn't ask for it. How can
I get these new service packs installed?

Try to install SP1 first, even if it seems to be installed yet. That worked
for me.

Turns out I already have SP2 installed. I wonder why Office Update didn't
catch that in the scan. It's still showing that it needs to be installed.
