Can't Install Word 2000

indienik

Hello, I was hoping that someone out there might be able to help me. I was
recently given an old computer by a friend of mine that uses Word 2000. When
I recently tried to install it, I was unable to as my friend doesn't have
this 25 character CD key that I would need in order to do so!! Any help or
suggestions anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated....thank you, in
advance!!

You've landed in a discussion group for users of Mac versions of Word (not
your fault: it's a charming foible of Microsoft's web interface, which I
guess you used). Mac versions differ variously from PC versions. Here's
where all the groups are listed:

Let me save you a bit of time: Nobody is going to give you the key to their
software licence. Don't waste your time asking!

Look around and buy your own copy :)

Cheers
