Can't Leave Mail on Server

I am trying to access my email from a different location
using my ISP's webmail facility. So want my mail left on
the server when it is collected by Outlook 2002 on my
home computer. Have changed the email account settings
to leave the mail on the server (ticked the box on
Advanced Tab), but when Outlook is closed and opened
again, the settings disappear. I know I can work around
this by setting Outlook to not collect my mail
automatically, but would prefer to both collect it at
home and leave it on the server till my return.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Might something else be doing this? I've never heard of "leave-on-server"
not working... If you're sure nothing else is doing the deletions, could
you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file after you receive some mail that gets deleted from the
server?
