Hi Wally,
I also work on WXP and A2K. The only problems that I
have encountered linking excel files resulted from trying
to link too old a version (our mainframe downloads data
to a very old version of excel so I have to open it in
excel and save it in the current format) or the typical
problems with header names (leading spaces, illegal
characters, etc). I'm not aware of other issues but
perhaps others will post with other possibilities. if
not, and if neither of the above ideas help you, it may
help if you post the process that you are going through
and the exact error message that you are getting.
