Can't load graphics in my email

I can't download the pictures in my email. It just started yesterday.

Starting with the assumption that maybe the SecureTemp folder is full (very
possible - My outlook pst file is 1.3 gigs and I have thousands of emails),
I looked at the SecureTemp folder, which is C:\Documents and
Settings\Margaret\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK14.

The only files in that folder are the four that I opened today. It's pretty
clear that's not where the attachments and graphics are being stored.

"can't download " doesnt say much;
Does it mean attachments are not available?, you cannot open attachment? or
imbedded pics are not there?
And the type of mail acc?
Archiving would assist in the size of the pst

I'm downloading a POP3 account from my ISP.

In my emails, instead of graphics, I get boxes with red x's in them.

Attachments that are mailed to me are fine. It's just when an email reads,
"click here to download pictures", nothing happens.

(Side note on archiving:)
I've archived off the easy stuff. The rest of it is more difficult. Ten
years of email is starting to catch up to me. Most of it I don't need,
but I'm still looking through my folders for some stuff I downloaded in the
90s that has been removed from the internet.

That's the trouble with using the internet for research. Stuff that's only
four or five years old is obsolete by internet standards, but by any human
standards, it's still totally useful, if not mandatory. Luckily, I saved a
bunch of it, if I can just find it.

Archiving merely transfers data from your current default data file to a new
one (or one you select) The data is still accessible within OL
