Can't Load Office XP

I had to reformat my hard drive and reload all of my
software. I have been using upgrades of MS Office for
the last 7 or 8 years, and no longer have the origional
non-upgrade set of software. I believe I have to install
over an excisting copy of the software and I don' have
that. Need help.

(I just answered this on another thread.)
The previous version does not need to be installed in order to install an
upgrade.

Install Office XP. When it asks for a qualifying product, you simply insert the
Office 2000 Upgrade or other qualifying Office CD. Once the qualification is
verified it will continue with the install. You only need the immediate
predecessor Office CD.
