Can't locate correct .msi file on CD

T

Tracy

I recently upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000
Pro(all updates are installed). Office 2000 Pro was
already installed on my laptop using the disks that I have
in my possession. Word and Excel work fine, but when I
try to use Outlook it says it requires an update and
requests the installation CD. When I put the CD in, it
brings up a box saying WINDOW INSTALLER "The feature you
are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk
that is not available. Insert the Micreosoft Office SR-1
Professional disk and click ok". The correct disk is in
the CD drive, but when I hit browse, Installer is looking
for data1Pro.msi and the only file on the CD is data1.msi

I can't remove and reinstall or update, because the same
situation occurs.

HELP! please
