cant log in!...cont'd

I also get that error when I start project pro 2003. Ive configured it to
use proj use proj server 2003.

how do I get around it? thanx!

It sounds like you are trying to log in for the first time and so you would
have to log in with the "Administrator" project server account with whatever
password you set for it when you first installed Project Server. You cannot
use a Windows Authenticated account until you have added a user through PWA
Admin>Manager Users and Group>Users and put in a Windows User Account for a
new user.

Do you remember what your Administrator account password is?

now when I use domain user accounts and windows authentication it says
'cannot connect' in project. but when I create different accounts using
project server authentication it works! how come??

ahh latest problem, I cant login thru project using any account!!
but all the accounts login fine thru PWA!

Do you get a successful test connect when you set up a new account in
project professional?

yes the test connection works. I disabled the logging in thing when project
starts up n used the publish on the web feature, then domain accounts work!
but project authentication accounts dont.
