Can't log onto server

Problem: I cannot log on my server so that I might publish new pages.
Front Page asks for the account name and password then repeats again and
again after entering info and pressing "OK". I can use other programs
(WS_FTP Pro - Dreamweaver) using the same log in information and all goes
well. Any suggestions?

Does the server have the FP extensions installed?

If so, the password can be different, then that used for FTP. Also if the
server has the FP extensions and you used FTP to upload, you most like
corrupted the extensions and the host will have to re-install them.
