Can't logon using PS Account

I don't have to do this often, but recently needed to logon to administrator
from another computer, and it wouldn't let me in, just clears the User Name
and Password.
When I got back to my desk, I verified that I just didn't forget the
administrator password or something, but it doesn't matter what account I
use, it just doesn't log in.
Yes, Mixed is selected. The ONLY thing that has been done was the SP3
applied a few months ago and the lgnps.asp notification page verbage was
changed.

Anybody ever seen this before or have any ideas where to start digging? I've
exhausted all my possibilities.

Thanks!

Are you saying that you cannot log into your system at all anymore? Is
there any windows account you can log in with?

You can reset passwords directly in the SQL database as a last resort.

Windows logon works fine. It is if I press logoff and try to logon with ANY
PS account, it just clears the fields and sits there. It isn't the end of the
world because we use Windows logons.

I'm just stumped, because I don't know if it was the SP3 updgrade or
changing the verbage on the lgnps.asp page

Jeff, you may want to check the security settings on the lgnps.asp page
within IIS manager. That specific file must have "Enable Anonymous..."
checked in order to process the PJSVR Login, and may have been changed when
you edited it.

You could also try to force authentication by enabling ONLY anonymous on the
LGNPS*.asp files, and ONLY Windows Auth on the LGNINT*.asp files, but I would
only do that as a last resort.
