Can't make a multivalued field

I am trying to create a multivalued field in the table of an existing
database. For some reason, when I do the lookup wizard, it doesn't ask me if
I want the allow multiple values. Also, the lookup properties of the fields
don't have the option to allow multiple values.

It isn't a problem with my computer or the Access 2007 that I am using
because if I open a new database it allows me to select the option that
allows for multiple values. Is there a setting that I need to change in my
existing database so that I can add a multivalued field?

Is the existing Access database an MDB or an ACCDB? Multivalued fields can
only be created in ACCDB databases.

How do I do this? (I'm new to using Access)

You need to convert the db to accdb format for multivalue fields. mdb format
can't store them.
