Can't Modify Table after DBA Split

Hello.

I just used the Access 97 Wizard to split my database
between frontend and backend.

I noticed that when using my frontend I can no long modify
the tables (FrontEnd tables are linked to BackEnd tables).

Is that because I split the database? Or is it an option
I need to turn on after I made the database split to be
able to modify the BackEnd tables from the FrontEnd?

Once you split the database, you can only modify the tables and the
relationships in the back-end.
