Can't neither select nor delete an object

Hi,

I think I've done a dumb thing.
Don't know how come, but I've got an object in my drawing which I can't
neither select nor delete nor double click, nor get any properties.

Any idea on how to get rid of it ?

Thanks in advance

Hi

Did you protect your object against deletion?
Well in case you did, and in case you also enabled shapes protection in
the document's protection settings, then you can't select it, and
without selection it, you also can't delete it.
So to fix it, uncheck the shapes protection in the document's protection
settings.

Hope that helped

Well, I got tired of it.
I've done it the very dumb way.
Selected all objects at once (obviously without the ones I couldn't select)
and pasted them in a new drawing

Thank you very much for your help

.
The problem is that what appears to be a shape is really
a group, or the shape could be protected against
selection, or it may be "locked" on its assigned layer.
