HELP - working in my db yesterday, running a query, got an 'invalid'
message which basically meant that the db was at the 2 MB
limit...usually I compact and repair, the db size decreases
dramatically and I go on my happy way. (I'm sure many are cringing
right now - obviously not an expert user!) Well, yesterday when
compacting, got the same invalid message and after clearing, the
status bar showed that it was still compacting and repairing. The db
usually reopens when done - this time it didn't - no message. Trying
to go out and open also doesn't work. Trying to compact/repair from
outside of DB does nothing - still can't open. I don't get any error
messages - basically nothing happens. There are no processes running
when I look at task manager. There's no .ldb file ... I'm at a
loss.
I've got a backup but its days old (and many revisions behind) - am
really hoping to resurrect this one.
Any help?
