can't open an attachment - .zip file

Trying to open a .zip file sent from a safe contact.

It tells me "can't create file: xxxxx.zip. Right-click the folder you want
to create the file in, and then click properties on the shortcut menu to
check your permissions for the folder"

Is this something that requires an ajustment on my part or the senders

Save the attachment to the hard disk and open it from there.

If you still can't open the zip file on your hardware, the zip file is probably corrupt. You may need to recover it. You can try Advanced Zip Repair at http://www.datanumen.com/azr/ This tool is rather useful in salvaging damaged Zip archives. But it is not free, so you can just try the free demo.
