We have xp and 2000 pro pc's on our network. The pc's have
either office 97, 2000 pro. We have had severeal pc' in
these past days were users cannot open theiroffice
documents, or cannot open up any office program from
programs menu in windows, they get prompted for the Office
cd like if office was not installed. But if you go tothe
microsoft office folder under program files and you open
up word or excel they open up fine, but i cannot run
office from the programs menu nor open any documents that
were created with ofice. All the user had office installed
to their local hard drive,we hadent had any problems up
until know. The way i have beeen fixing this problem is by
doing a repair or reinstalling office. Please help, cant
figure it ou why these machine are having thi problem.
