Hello,
I have a user who can not open a PDF (or any) attachments in Outlook 2002
(Windows XP).
Basically they open the e-mail then double click the attachment and nothing
happens. Also tried right clicking to “Open†or “Save As†and neither of
those works either.
In my research, I have found that there is a folder location set in the
Registry to a folder in Documents and Settings\USER\Local Settings\Temporary
Internet Files\. When I look in this folder I see the attachment that the
user just tried to open. I had one other user that had this problem, but
cleaning out the “Temporary Internet Files†fixes the problem. But it doesn't
fix the problem for this other user.
Any help world be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
